New Food

Today we got a shipment from Okinawa Island Produce.  We got passion fruit, dragon fruit, cucumbers,basil, watermelon, and fennel.  My favorite was the passion fruit.  Everything tastes so different and sour.  We buy food from Okinawa  Island Produce because commisary produce prices are to expensive.  We also hate how food rots so quickly at the commisary.  Almost everything is organic on Okinawa Island Produce.  I love Okinawa Island Produce.

Fourth of July

This year we spent the Fourth of July in Okuma.  It was so fun.  A  friend gave us their room.  We snorkeled half the time.  There were lots of fish and crabs and hermit crabs and sea slugs.  I finally got to ride the tube.  It went really fast! I had a lot of fun.  On the fourth of july we listened to a country band. I stayed in the water alot.  We also went on the banana boat.I loved Okuma on the 4th! My dad made steaks on the grill, baked beans and a salad!  We also stayed up late and made s'mores.  We had a great time, but the one thing missing was the fireworks :(

Okuma

Over spring break, me and my family went to Okuma Beach. We stayed in 2 different cabins! We got to ride lots of things. The first thing we rode was the banana boat. It went so fast that Tori and her friend Tiffany fell off the back. We all laughed at that. Then I went in the water for a while. When I got out, I dried off and went to dig a really big hole. It was so big I could fit in there! After, I made a Korean friend and we played tether ball at the park. Adam was playing freeze tag. We stayed at the beach all day. Then we went on a family bike while Adam went on a small bike, and Tori and Tiffany went on a different family bike. We went to our rooms to call it a night and when we turned on our TV, we saw snoopy. We watched the movie then went to bed. I got to sleep on a comfortable blow up bed. When it was morning time, I just couldn't wait to get up so I got up. I looked at the clock. It was 7:30! I was surprised mom and dad were up that early on Easter morning. When me and Adam looked in our Easter baskets and we both saw lots of eggs full of peeps, new goggles, torpedos, and new swim suits! We ran to the beach in our new swim suits at 8:00 and we caught some hermit crabs. Then we went on the glass bottom boat and saw tons of cool things. We saw Sea Snakes and star fish and lots different types of coral, rocks, sea anemones, and lots of algae and fish! I even saw my friends too! We took lots of food and had left overs when we left. We also went on jetskiis. We rented three of them. Me and dad went on one, mom and Adam went on one, and Tori and Tiffany went on one. We all went fast but mom and Adam. On that night we watched a street performer and he was good. Then we watched award winning hip-hop dancers. It was a really long dance. On the day before we left me and my friend went on the small bikes. I crashed into the rocks and sand. On the last day there me and Adam had to let the hermit crabs free. We played for a while then mom told us it was time to go. Our last two stops were to the shop to get me a ring pop with my own money, then we went to starbucks. Me and Adam got white chocolate mochas and mom and dad got coffee and Tori and Tiffany got white chocolate mochas too. Then we went back home and unpacked. It was the best spring break ever!

Save the rain forests

If you have ever heard or seen a rain forests you will know how much they do for us. Did you know they made medicine? They also protect us from heat warmings. The plants take in some of the heat so it wont hurt us. The rain forests gave us rubber. The rain forests give us lots of medicine. Mostly for cancer. If you read my blog, you should tell someone and we might be able to help. Please pass it on to anyone you know.

Okinawa Aquarium

We had fun at the aquarium. First, we petted sea creatures. Next, we looked at some fish and other stuff. Then, we looked at eels. We saw a big whale shark and manta rays! We ate at Ocean Blue Cafe. Most of us had taco rice. It was good but it was a little on the spicy side! Woo Woo! After, we went to the shark research lab. We got to do lots of things there. We got to feel real shark skin! Then we went to the dolphin show. The dolphin did a flip in the air! Next, we got to see sea turtles. After that, we went to see manatees get fed. Then we went to the beaches there. The beach was called Emerald Beach. I cant wait till its summer so we can swim in the water. It was beautiful weather today. We got a ride to the front of the aquarium where we parked. We did that because there was a rope and net park. We played there for a while. But then it was time to go home :( We got to spend 5 hours there! We had a lot of fun at the aquarium.

Christmas Vacation

I have done lots of things since school got out. First, was Christmas Eve. We invited a few people. We all got matching pajamas. It was awesome and we got an awesome dinner made by my mom. We had beef tenderloin. That night we sprinkled reindeer food ALL over the yard. With the food, we also added sparkles The reindeer ate all the food from the yard! Santa came that night. We all got LOTS of presents! We went to Torii Station. I saw my friend Anais and Tori saw Laurenne. We found lots of sea glass too. After, we had to leave:( But we had so much fun!

Our Fun Weekend

We had an awesome time this weekend. The only bad part about it was Tori hurt her arm and now is in a splint. The day it happened, we went to a cheer performance. There was a flag football game between the Army and the Navy. Tori fell doing her tumbling. She went to the emergency room, but it was too swollen to see if it is broken, so we go to another Dr. tomorrow. Today we got up at 4:00 am to see the Army Navy game. It was long and I slept through the whole thing! I did get to eat an awesome breakfast at the O club. Then, we went to a birthday party. It was Patty's party. It was at the skate park on Camp Courtney. We had a blast! Patty turned 9. He had a pinata, pizza, some other foods, and more! We rode our scooters and climbed trees. We had the best weekend ever!
